PendoTECH’s Single-Use Conductivity Sensors and Conductivity Transmitter offer highly accurate conductivity and temperature measurements without requiring sensor calibration. Each sensor comes with a pre-determined cell constant, which is entered into the transmitter. Ideal for use in critical bioprocess operations, the sensor transmitter connects to the PendoTECH Single-Use Conductivity Sensor and produces a linear 4-20 milliamp signal with conductivity. It reads the sensor’s raw conductivity and temperature value and calculates the normalized value at 25°C. The normalized value is transmitted via the 4-20 mA signal in the 0-150 mS range. It has a convenient DIN rail mounting design.

    • 0.1 to 2 mS/cm ± 0.1mS/cm;
    • 2 to 50 mS/cm ± 5% of reading;
    • 50 to 100 mS/cm typically ± 5% of reading
  • Pressure Rating: 75psi (5bar)
  • Fluid Path Materials:
    • Gamma compatible (up to 50kiloGrays)
    • NaOH resistant
    • USP Class VI
  • Temperature measurement for normalization by monitor
  • No calibration required because of pre-determined cell constant; in the range from 0 to 70°C and one-point calibration by user optional
  • Designed for single use applications; may be repeatedly cleaned and re-used

Transmitter Details:

  • Reads conductivity and temperature from sensor
  • Reads 2 sensors; including ability to read temperature only
  • Cell constant must be entered into the monitor when new sensor is connected
  • Perform temperature normalization to 25°C with adjustable mS/ °C factor
  • 4 – 20mA outputs for both conductivity and temperature
  • RS232 output for data collection to a PC with PendoTECH PMAT Plus GUI software
